Furnace elements are manufactured using either tubular elements, resistance wire, resistance ribbon or ceramic bobbins with resistance wire.  Material selection for furnace elements is critical and is dependent upon the temperature range, the environment, the positioning of the elements, the available power supply and numerous other factors.
